Learn More About Our Ophthalmologist

At Branchburg Eye Physicians, our team of experienced staff includes Dr. Kenette K. Sohmer, a licensed and board-certified ophthalmologist. She founded Branchburg Eye Physicians in 1977.

She performs small incision no-stitch cataract surgery and is certified in the femtosecond laser which assists in reducing astigmatism for patients who are candidates and elect to have this procedure.  

Her numerous awards and achievements include recognition from

groups such as New Eyes for the Needy and the Hunterdon Hills Lions Club for her contribution as an eye physician.

She teaches eye pathology to medical students here at our center. Dr. Sohmer is certified in the femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, which involves a smaller incision and no-stitch aspheric implants.
